Is Intimacy Sex Oil edible and how does it taste? 

Intimacy Sex Oil is made with food-grade ingredients and makes an excellent addition to oral play. However, we do not recommend consuming it as you would a daily tonic or supplement. 

It is primarily odorless and tasteless. To some, it may have a nutty scent and taste due to the coconut oil. 

What are the differences between Intimacy Sex Oil & Awaken Arousal Oil? 

Intimacy Sex Oil is formulated to promote moisture, reduce friction, and ease discomfort. It can be applied liberally during sexual play for added glide. Sex Oil contains two ingredients: organic MCT Coconut Oil and broad-spectrum extract from USDA organic-certified, regeneratively grown USA hemp (400mg Active CBD), free of THC. This formula is gently moisturizing, lightweight, and non-greasy.

Awaken Arousal Oil  is formulated to activate libido, ease access to orgasm, and increase orgasm intensity. It is intended for application to the clitoris, inner and outer labia, and vagina before sexual activity and approximately 15-20 min before any lubricants. Awaken contains broad-spectrum CBD and other plant botanicals such as kava, peppermint, ginger, and cacao.

Both formulas are great additions to your solo or partnered sexual experience and are also great paired together.

Can I use Intimacy Sex Oil with condoms? 

Since it is oil-based, Intimacy Sex Oil should not be used with latex or poly-isoprene condoms. Oil-based substances can degrade the material of latex condoms, making them more likely to break or tear. 

If you'd like to use our Intimacy Sex Oil with condoms, it is advisable to choose alternative barrier methods such as polyurethane condoms. Please carefully read the packaging and instructions of the specific brand and type of condom you choose to ensure that it is compatible with oil-based products.

Can I use Intimacy Sex Oil with sex toys? 

Yes! We recommend choosing non-latex toys because Sex Oil is made with coconut oil, and oils can degrade latex. Examples of safe toys include silicone, glass, elastomer, and stainless steel.

Is Intimacy Sex Oil with CBD pH Balanced?  

Because Intimacy Sex Oil is an oil-based formula, it does not have a pH value. We refrain from using any of the common ingredients that can disturb the vagina’s pH, such as glycerin, parabens, or synthetic fragrances in our products, which you can read up on here. 

We recommend doing a patch test on the inner wrist or forearm before using our products. 

For some, the vaginal microbiome can be easily disrupted. If you know you are sensitive or tend to be predisposed to UTIs, yeast infections, and other common imbalances, please check in with your healthcare provider to ensure our product will be a good fit. 

Does Intimacy Sex Oil contain THC, and will it cause me to fail a drug test? 

Intimacy Sex Oil is made with hemp oil (not THC), and it is unlikely that you would test positive for anything but CBD after using it.
